Majorie is a CPA, CMA with a Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) in International Business. She is a leader with extensive experience providing Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, Risk and Control management, Third Party oversight, Policies and Procedures Consulting services. Majorie has accumulated more than 15 years of experience across many industries such as Cash Security Services, Banking Industry, Manufacturing and Consulting.

From leading major Audit projects related to important acquisitions to managing compliance to different regulatory or certification requirements (ISAE3402/SOC/SSAE16), Majorie represents a strong, versatile and complete professional asset. With about half of her career worked in Canada and half in the USA, she is a bilingual (French/English) resource who is result oriented and has a vast experience of collaborating and working with worldwide major financial institutions.

 

Her expertise includes:

  • Performing special projects and providing assistance to business units in evaluating and improving business processes, identifying      risks and key controls for industry compliance standards, certification or regulations (i.e. ISAE, SOC, SOX52-109, etc.)

  • Improving organizational control environment and implementing audit program

  • Performing risk assessment/SOX assessment and control testing on policies and procedures

  • Developing action plans on findings identified and remediation monitoring on corrective actions

  • Strategy development, assessment execution and analysis supporting SSAE16/ISAE3402 certification

  • Managing customer risk reviews and audits, recommendation and action plan in accordance with worldwide major banks regulations     and risk and audit program compliance

  • Responsible for risk management and loss prevention initiatives in collaboration with other departments

  • Leading and overseeing team of resources

  • Advisory role to executive management regarding risk, controls, policies and procedures in business operations

  • Elaboration, review and execution of the corporation internal audit plan

  • Testing and monitoring inventory controls for more than $20 Billion in inventory
